Muskie
WHat to expect
❋ Mactaquac Headpond (Saint John River)
Trips for large trophy muskie. Considered to be the fish of “ten thousand casts” these large trophy predators are highly sought after. Elusive and rugged, they are truly the kings of the water they occupy. Fish upwards of 4 feet are often found.
Trolling the open waters is a very productive tactic - casting opportunities are also available.
Temperatures typically range from 70°F (20°C) to 95°F (35°C). Periodic cloudy skies and passing rain fronts are always possible—and those changing conditions often trigger some of the best fishing of the season.
Sun screen, sun glasses, cool drinks are all essentials on trips during the summer.
Maximum of 3 guests
